Chinese Rain Bell is a plant used to make dye. The rain and mist of the Nuannuan mountain area is its ideal habitat and this made it one of the first economically valuable crops grown in the area. The farm lies in a stream valley surrounded by mountains. The setting is tranquil and the natural scenery and aroma of the forest make it an ideal leisure destination. The farm offers visitors a chance to experience traditional blue dyeing, using a dye extracted from the Chinese Rain Bell, a testament to the proprietor's effort to revive a traditional industry. The garments made using blue dye are as beautiful as those of Sanxia in New Taipei City. The raw material and the technique is the same. Visitors are advised to try their hands at making blue dye garments. The tea that is grown on the farm is also worth tasting.
