Badouzi Railway Station is a station on the Shenao Line of the Taiwan Railway Administration, which is located at the junction of Shenaoli, Ruifang District, New Taipei City and Shazili, Zhongzheng District, Keelung City. It was constructed and operated by the Japanese Mining Corporation in the Showa era 11 (1936). It was then undertaken by Taiwan Metal Mining Co., Ltd. at the beginning of the postwar period and then ceased operations on August 26, 1962. The Taiwan Railway Administration was newly established on April 8, 1965, and was constructed with tracks from Badouzi to Ruifang. The extension allowed service to passengers and freight. With the competition of highway traffic after the completion of the Northern Coastal Highway, the entire line finally stopped operations and freight on August 21, 1989. Yet on January 9, 2014, Badouzi Railway Station resumed operations once again to service visitors to Badouzi National Maritime Museum. The Badouzi Railway Station is a small station just beside the road, so visitors can freely enter and exit. Standing on the platform is like standing on a lookout allowing you to see the distant sea while listening to the sound of waves. In 1989, it was a dormant station, but in December 2016, it was reputed as a "The Most Beautiful Train Station in Northern Taiwan."
