In addition to endless medicinal stories, Dr. Ye also purchased plants from various places and tried to domesticate a variety of nutritious vegetables originating overseas in Taiwan. For example, in summer we have the Egyptian wild hemp which has vitamins and dietary fiber; in autumn and winter, there are black bitter arbores and equator. And we also have primrose, as well as echinacea, acanthopanax senticosus that are produced in all seasons. In addition, there is a 1-km-long Taxus pine trail in the farm, where visitors can stroll and absorb phytoncides in the forest. Besides, you can observe ecological characteristics of Zangliu pond, appreciate the calligraphy and bamboo carvings by Dr. Ye Jinyin, or learn to sort the harvested medicinal plants in the DIY classroom here.
