Nuannuan Ande temple is located at the end of Nuannuan old street, on the side of the railway. It was built in 1801, Nuannuan Ande temple had been repaired for several times. Mazu is the main goddess for people. The temple is over two hundred years so it becomes the oldest temple in Nuannuan. At the same time, it is one of the prosperous temples in the Nuannuan district. Although it loosed its original appearance after repairing, the flagstone square and the stone carving lion is the unique relics passed down from the Qing Dynasty, so it has an important value. In front of the square, there is an introduction of the historical development of Ande Temple and the past and present eminent people's steles. Besides, there is some description on the monumental archway about Nuannuan eminent person who has a great saga. So it is worth visiting for its long history and cultural value. Ande with the long history is not only a belief center in Nuannuan district but also a playing ground for Nuannuan local people in the past. Even though some people move out, they will come back for important holidays such as the Ghost Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival.
